What is the AMG?

The AMG (All Mighty Guarantee) is Osprey’s commitment to our products and our customers that if there is a defect with the pack within its lifetime\* T&Cs apply, we will repair or replace the pack with either the same product or a current model. Please note that as colours change thought the season we cannot always replace like for like. In this event our team will contact you to discuss the options available. \* [AMG Declaration](https://osprey-emea-sandbox.kustomer.support/en_us/amg-declaration-ByrmL02iR)

What happens to the AMG on my new pack?

Your AMG continues from the original purchase date of your original pack. For example, you purchased your pack on 1st Jan 2020 your 30 year AMG would expire 1st Jan 2050, if we were to replace your pack due to a repair not being able to be carried out the AMG on the new pack will expire on the same date of the 1st Jan 2050.

How do I claim umber the AMG?

To make a claim under the AMG you will need to create an account on the Osprey website. Once you have created an account you will be able to submit a claim using the claim form [here](https://www.osprey.com/gb/customer-support/all-mighty-guarantee/)

If you are outside the UK, we can still assist you with your repair, if you are in Europe and your pack requires a repair, please select the country you are in, and we will provide you with the details of the Europe repair agent where you can send your pack for repair. If you require replacement parts, we can also provide this while in Europe. Please note that due to customs and carrier restrictions there can be a delay in getting parts while in Europe.

As a Repair can take 2-3 weeks from the point of sending your pack, we understand that this might not be convenient, and you may have to carry out a temporary repair. This will not affect your AMG claim, please ensure that you have photos prior to the temporary repair. When you can get the pack sent for repair please include these photos along with current photos of the pack.

What if I am outside Europe?

If you are outside Europe, we will provide you with our international distributor details who will then be able to assist. Please note that due to different laws and regulations we cannot guarantee you will be able to get a repair or replacement in some areas.

Due to shipping and customs restrictions, we cannot ship outside UK or Europe.

We are more than happy to assist with repairs once you return into Europe or UK, if you need to carry out a temporary repair or your pack gets worse due to a failure this will not affect your ability to claim from the AMG.

How do I return my pack for repair?

Once you have completed the claim form and submitted you will receive an email from us to confirm the shipping address where to send your pack.

We recommend using a tracked service to send your pack as we are unable to assist if your pack does not arrive at our repair centre.

We require all items to be removed from the pack including air tags and personal labels. If the pack is unrepairable, we will not be able to return these items, and they will go to be recycled.

We also request that the pack is cleaned prior to being send to the repair centre, if the pack is dirty this will be sent back unrepaired, you will need to clean and then arrange to have the pack shipped back at your cost.

Can I get replacement parts?

We have an extensive stock of parts for most of our products. However, we cannot guarantee colourway matches or that they will have the original Osprey logo. We cannot supply spare parts for the Poco range due to TUV safety standards.

Can I purchase spare parts?

We are only able to supply replacement buckles & zip pulls under the AMG which are all supplied FOC. We do not have a stock of spare parts for example rain covers, hoods, day packs.

What if my pack has sentimental value?

When filling in the repair form please tick the box to advise you would like the pack returned if unrepaired. This will inform our repair centre to discuss prior to a replacement being sent and your pack going for recycling.

What information do you require to repair my pack?

With every repair we require as much information as possible to ensure we can get your pack repaired efficiently and right the first time.

We require the pack details, so model name and size, PO number, any defects with the pack you would like repaired, if there are defects that you are happy to not repair please let us know as we know some damage has a story.

Photos of the whole pack and then the defect are helpful to ensure we can get the correct repair carried out.

What happens if my pack cannot be repaired?

If your pack cannot be repaired, out team will contact you and advise, If a direct replacement can be sent, we will arrange for a replacement pack to be shipped to your address provided when you submitted the claim form.

In the event your current pack is not available we will offer your alternative pack options.

Once a replacement has been ordered your current pack will go for recycling.

Do I need to register my pack to be able to get a repair carried out?

Your pack doesn’t need to be registered to get a repair carried out, you will need to setup an account to be able to submit an AMG repair.

What does a repair look like?

Repairs can come in any shape and size, we have provided some examples of functional repairs. Our goal is to repair your pack, in most cases we endeavour to have an invisible repair, however there are cases where a functional repair is required. Our mission is to keep as many packs in life as possible.

What parts are covered under the AMG?

Every part of the pack is covered under the AMG\* T&C apply. If you have a broken wheel, if you have a delaminated pack, we will cover the repair or replacement for 30 years \* T&C apply \*[AMG Declaration](https://osprey-emea-sandbox.kustomer.support/en_us/amg-declaration-ByrmL02iR)

Why can you not repair my pack?

There are some occasions where we will not be able to repair your pack, this can be due to TUV safety standards as per the Poco, if there is extensive damage that makes the repair not possible. We will try to give you as much information on why we cannot repair your pack.

Who covers the cost of postage?

It is your responsibility to cover the cost of shipping the pack to our repair centre and we will cover the cost of repair and return shipping.

We would always recommend to ship with a tracked service.

How long does it take to get a repair carried out?

Our repair centre will normally take 2-3 business days to assess and repair your pack. During busy periods this can extend to 7-10 business days.

If your repair is urgent, please contact our team at Osprey and we will discuss this with the repair centre. Please do not contact the repair centre directly as this can create confusion and create unnecessary delays.

My pack has been returned unrepaired due to being dirty, how do I clean?

Due to health and safety of our repair teams we ask that your pack is clean and clear of debris, if there is rodent damage we would ask that you make sure the pack is wrapped in a sealed bag, and you make us aware of this prior to sending the pack in.

We have some advice on how to clean your pack here [How to Clean Your Osprey Backpack](https://www.osprey.com/gb/how-to-clean-your-osprey-backpack).

What if I have a leaking Hydrapak Reservoir?

If you have an issue with your Hydrapak Reservoir leaking, please contact Hydrapak directly [Submit a request – HydraPak Help Center](https://support.hydrapak.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=913168) they will be able to assist with your claim.

If you need assistance, please do contact the team who will do their best to assist.

What if I purchased outside UK or Europe?

If you purchased your pack outside UK or Europe, we will do our best to assist you with your repair.

If you are not in UK or Europe and the pack was purchased elsewhere you will need to discuss your repair request with the market it was purchased. This is due to different terms and conditions in different markets.

Can I get a refund not a repair?

In the case where you are requesting a refund this would need to be directed to the retailer where you purchased.

If the product was purchased from Osprey directly, we would follow the applicable refund process for your market area and we will discuss this with you directly.
